Adding items to this site

This facility has been removed from the site for two reasons:

very few people ever bothered to use it
it attracted lots of spam

A personal note from the webmaster: the process of adding items to this site was made easy for anyone to do (read the friendly manual), and a great deal of effort went into making it work that way. However, in spite of this effort hardly anyone bothered to use the facility, preferring instead to dump the workload onto the one overburdened editor. Apart from being selfish and unfair this also meant that this site has achieved only a fraction of its potential.
