As Woodfields is situated on the edge of Tooting Bec Common, and good music and food are served up on the day, we tend to get a lot of fair visitors which leads to a really vibrant and wonderful event.

Barn Dance – 15th May 2010

Barn Dance’ Summer Social is taking place on Saturday 15th May 2010 at BBC (Balham Bowls Club) Ramsden Road, SW12 (opposite Waitrose car park entrance) from 7pm – 12am. The social is open to all; friends, family, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker. It is a public event for over 18’s only! … get your gingham ready for a truly spectacular evening celebrating school, art, and a summer of fun! Contact the school office for tickets.

Education Workshop

The next Education Workshop will be held on Friday, 12th March 2010 from 5pm to 8pm. The cost is £20 (discount available for existing school parents) and this includes a delicious dinner. The workshop is aimed at adults who would like to experience directly how it feels to be a child in a Waldorf school (great fun). Attendees will have a choice of lessons – 1st one from 5.15 to 6pm and the 2nd from 6 to 6.45pm.

*Buy your homemade advent wreaths for your front door.

* Buy your homemade mincemeat pies and stollen.

*Eat fine home made food and enjoy the fun with us at the lead up to Christmas.

This fair is a school fundraiser where all parents and friends help out and prepare activites for for the day. Do come along, join in and find out more about the wonders of a Steiner education for your child.

School stalls to include: Fundraising/information stall, Children’s Craft Area, Bake Stall, Children’s Mini Market, Non-alcoholic mulled wine, Café, Baked potato stall, Children’s make your own pizza, Games, Eurythmy Stall, Steiner Book Stall, Waldorf inspired Craft Stall-also selling crystals, wooden animals from and toys from http://www.woodlandchildren.com/ and, Bottle Tombola, Stones in the Sand.
